MARMAS PRODUCTIONS CROWNS FOUR NATIONAL PAGEANT WINNERS IN LAS VEGAS

Contestants from around the country convened on stage at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada August 3, 2008 to compete for four National titles: Miss Teen of the Nation (ages 13-19), Ms. American Woman (ages 20-34), Ms. Lady of America (ages 35-49), and Ms. Classic American Woman (age 50 and over). Over $25,000 in prizes were awarded to the winners and runners-up. Contestants were judged in three equal categories: Personality, Beauty and Figure. After four days of intense rehearsals and preliminaries, the top finalists in each division were interviewed on stage then competed in evening gown and swimwear. The judges selected four new queens.

Bryiana is active in the “Make a Wish Foundation” having survived a life-threatening illness and hopes to use her title to visit high schools around the country to bring awareness to the foundation. “Even though I'm a titleholder, I'm still just your average, ordinary all-American girl trying to make a difference.” Bryiana is described as benevolent, ambitious and dedicated and hopes to become a professional commercial print model.

It is an honor and blessing to hold the title and had I not won on my first try, I would have been back next year for sure!"

Sharon Deane from Granite Bay, California is the new 2008 Ms. Classic American Woman. Sharon is a Kidney/Pancreas transplant coordinator. Sharon describes herself as ageless, dedicated and approachable.Eight years ago I remember sitting with the audience when my daughter Angela was crowned Miss Teen of the Nation 1999.  Now in 2008 I was so blessed to be on stage being crowned the new Ms. Classic American Woman as my daughter watched from the audience.  The memories we have gained from being in Marmas Production pageants are everlasting. I turned 51 this year and being involved with pageants has helped me to grow stronger physically and emotionally.  I look forward to being a role model for woman my age.  I want to thank John Marmas for bringing a wonderful pageant system to us all.  What a wonderful weekend we had in Vegas that was full of fun and excitement.  I have a motto that I live by, Sometimes in life we regret the things we don’t do more than the things we do. If you have a dream just try because what you gain from trying is so wonderful.
